The responsibilities of the International Students Office include, in particular:
- Information and administrative support for international students, PhD students, and postgraduate students;
- Information and administrative support for organizational units of the Jagiellonian University in matters related to serving international students, PhD students, and postgraduate students;
- Handling matters related to cooperation with the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) regarding scholarship programmes;
- Diagnosing, monitoring, and reporting data on international students in accordance with applicable external regulations and the needs of the Jagiellonian University;
- Organizing events to prepare international students for studying at the Jagiellonian University;
- Organizing training for administrative staff of the Jagiellonian University in the standards of service for international students, PhD students, and postgraduate students, in particular the requirements specified in the legal regulations concerning foreigners;
- Providing substantive support in matters related to the operation of the Jagiellonian University's IT systems within the scope of tasks performed by the ISO, as well as implementing new solutions and planning the functionality of these systems.
