Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Scholarships Office include, in particular:

• administrative service of university-wide UJ scholarship funds and central scholarship committees;
• handling matters related to scholarship benefits paid from the Scholarship Fund, verifying completeness of documentation, determining the income level in the applicant's family, preparing decisions, and creating payment lists in accordance with procedures adopted at UJ;
• monitoring the proper use of amounts from the Scholarship Fund in accordance with UJ procedures and the amounts of doctoral scholarship increases within the quality subsidy;
• cooperation with the UJ Student Government and the UJ Doctoral Students’ Society in the scope of:
  • distribution of the Scholarship Fund,
  • allocation of places in student dormitories;
• substantive support for matters related to the operation of UJ IT systems within the scope of tasks carried out by the Scholarships Office, as well as implementing new solutions and planning the functionality of these systems.
