The responsibilities of the Admissions Office include, in particular:
- administrative and organizational management of JU admissions for degree programmes, post-diploma programmes, courses, other forms of education, and doctoral schools;
- support for candidates;
- organization, coordination, and support of the work of admission teams, committees, and other University bodies engaged in the admission proceedings, including collecting proposals from University units regarding tuition fee amounts;
- information and administrative support for JU organization units in matters regarding admissions to degree programmes, post-diploma programmes, courses, other forms of education, and doctoral schools;
- administrative support for the JU Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs in drafting administrative decisions regarding admissions;
- representing JU at education fairs and presenting the University's offer in schools;
- diagnosing, monitoring, and reporting on the admission process to improve its quality and effectiveness and to adapt it to the needs of the candidates and the University;
- support for JU organizational units regarding admissions through the procedure of confirmation of learning outcomes and transfers from other universities;
- substantive support for matters related to the operation of JU's IT systems within the scope of tasks carried out by the Admissions Office, including the implementation of new solutions and planning system functionalities.
