Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Admissions Office include, in particular:

  • organizational and administrative support for the admission process to degree programmes, postgraduate programmes, and doctoral schools at JU, including handling candidate-related matters, organizing, coordinating, and supporting the work of admissions teams, committees, and other University bodies involved in the application process, as well as collecting proposals from units regarding tuition fees;
  • administrative support for the JU Vice-Rector for Teaching in drafting administrative decisions related to student admissions;
  • representing JU at education fairs and presenting the University's offer in schools;
  • diagnosing, monitoring, and reporting on the recruitment process to improve its quality and effectiveness and to adapt it to the needs of applicants and the University;
  • substantive support for matters related to the operation of JU's IT systems within the scope of tasks carried out by the Admissions Office, including the implementation of new solutions and planning system functionalities.
