The responsibilities of the Study Support Office include, in particular:

providing informational and administrative support to JU units in matters related to:
- the course of studies, postgraduate studies, and other forms of education;
- rules for charging and waiving tuition fees;
administrative support for the JU Vice-Rector for Teaching in drafting resolutions and administrative decisions regarding the matters mentioned in point 1;
coordinating the process of establishing and discontinuing study programs, postgraduate programs, and other forms of education, as well as introducing changes to study programs;
coordinating the process of creating and updating curricula in doctoral schools;
administering loan, credit, and grant programs for international students under the U.S. Department of Education's Direct Loan Program and Sallie Mae (SLM Corporation);
substantive support for matters related to the operation of JU's IT systems within the scope of tasks carried out by the Centre for Academic Support, including implementation of new solutions and planning system functionalities.
